It’s more powerful than a configuration that would traditionally have various limitations. A rule-based system is like a domain specific language that would be used by a payroll expert. This will be a powerful tool to keep the system robust and remove manual processes while preserving the flexibility that will be required in order to protect businesses from future industry changes.
